Sharing one creative spirit, American Artist's Guild is a fraternal artists organization who's purpose is to unify American artists through collaborative projects, education and cultural understanding.

American Artist's Guild Objectives include:

The purpose of the American Artists Guild is to create greater opportunities for success without limitations for AAG members not limited to encouraging collaboration, providing education and information about successful business models with step-by-step guidance when necessary to do any and all other acts or things which may be found necessary, beneficial or convenient in carrying out any of the objectives of the AAG or in protecting or furthering its interests or promote and foster by all lawful means the interests of (AAG) members.
More specifically:
  • (i) Educating the public about art and artists through classes, demonstrations, performances, displays, written and visual media, group events, lectures, presentations and workshops, among other means;
  • (ii) Educating artists regarding the practicalities of being an artist, including but not limited to providing educational resources, encouraging collaboration, researching and sharing information about successful business models, and providing advice from financially successful artists;
  • (iii) To unite within our membership American Artists: who are actively engaged in the professions, occupations; and/or life long pursuit of art and the creative lifestyle;
  • (iv) To represent those members for the purpose of collective bargaining for purchasing goods and services and to provide or secure for American Artists Guild (AAG) members with resources needed for a more secure and successful creative life;
  • (v) Assist members in establishing (AAG) Branches to serve the creative needs of the community providing business development support and education for artists using time tested successful working models;
  • (vi) To acquire, own, sell and transfer real and personal property, and to accumulate and maintain General, Reserve and Relief Funds to be used in carrying out any of the objectives of the American Artists Guild (AAG);
  • (vii) To provide space and venues for member artists to connect, create, perform, rehearse, sell, and share their creation;
  • (viii) To cooperate and affiliate with other organization(s) and associations that share common goals and values with the American Artists Guild (AAG);
  • (ix) To promote alliances and friendly discourse among its members so that we may learn and share from each other;
  • (x)To promote alliances, friendly discourse and a united action among its members; for the benefit of the membership by forming committees to discuss needs, concerns, and solutions to situations concerning American artists and taking corrective action when needs arise;
  • (xi) To enter into mutual benefit agreements with other similar associations both in the U.S. and in foreign countries, providing for the reciprocal protection of the rights of the members of each organization;
  • (xiii)To promote freedom of: expression and communication through the arts in an open friendly cultural exchange, where diversity and cooperation can be recognized and celebrated in accordance with the Laws of the United States including it's Dependent and Soverign Nations.
  • (xiv)To do any and all other acts or things which may be found necessary or convenient in carrying out any of the objectives of the organization or in protecting or furthering its interests or the interests of its members.
  • (xii)To promote and foster by all lawful means the interests of American artists;
